Foothill College Fall Quarter registration
Foothill College Fall Quarter registration is still open on the school's website. Classes will run from Sept. 22 to Dec. 12. July 21-Sept. 22. $31/unit for California residents, plus basic fees. Foothill College, 12345 El Monte Road, Los Altos Hills.

Volunteers

Silicon Valley Tour de Coop preparation
Neighbors Helping Neighbors will hold a variety of volunteer activities leading up to and during the Silicon Valley Tour de Coop, a bike ride between chicken coops and home gardens on Sept. 21. Volunteer opportunities include putting up fliers and posters, doing test bike rides, organizing other small events to spread the word and staffing locations on tour day. June-September, dates and times vary. Free. Neighbors Helping Neighbors events, various nearby locations, Palo Alto and Mountain View.

'Huangshan and Zhangjiajie, China'
The exhibit "Huangshan and Zhangjiajie, China: Photographs of Land and Culture" will be on display at the Krause Center for Innovation. June 23-Sept. 26, center hours. Free. Krause Center for Innovation, 12345 El Monte Road, Building 4000, Los Altos Hills.

Yosemite Memories
Garden Fresh restaurant will have on display an exhibit of acrylic paintings on canvas by local artist Diana Ware Collins. Her works depict landscapes and scenes from her time spent in Yosemite and abroad. July 30-Sept. 30, 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Free. Garden Fresh Restaurant, 460 Ramona St., Palo Alto.

La Comida volunteer opportunities
The La Comida Senior Lunch Program has various volunteer opportunities available, including helping to welcome and serve seniors, translate, assist with special programs and do community outreach. Monday-Friday, year-round, 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Free. La Comida Main Dining Room, Avenidas Center, 450 Bryant St., Palo Alto.

Minds in Motion classes
Peninsula Volunteers will offer these classes as part of its early memory loss wellness program for those experiencing changes in memory or other cognitive impairments. Activities include brain and memory games. Mondays, through December, 10 a.m.-noon. $12 drop in; $75 eight-week series. Little House Activity Center, 800 Middle Ave., Menlo Park.

Palo Alto Scrabble Club
The Palo Alto Scrabble Club welcomes players of all levels every Monday night, holidays included. No need to RSVP. No charge to play. Players can drop in with their equipment or use the club's. Mondays, through December, 6-9:30 p.m. Free. Freebirds World Burrito, 2305 El Camino Real, Palo Alto.

For the Love of Dance classes
For the Love of Dance offers training in ballet, jazz, tap and other styles of dance. Serving Mountain View, Palo Alto, Los Altos and Sunnyvale, it is a family-owned studio that teaches dance to children and adults at all levels of ability.
