M-A adviser has 'fastest fingers'
(July 05, 2000) Menlo-Atherton High School's Alice Kleeman has been crowned the fastest typer in a recent typing contest in Sacramento.
At 145 net words a minute, Ms. Kleeman, a college advisor, is faster than second place winner Wayne Stoler of Baltimore, Maryland, who squeaked by at 142 net words a minute.
Both went finger-to-finger in a type-off after they tied for first place in the professional division of the third-annual OPAC Testing Software Keyboarding challenge, a software system developed by the International Association of Administrative Professionals.
