Commercial real estate seminar examines local trends
(September 11, 2002) A seminar on commercial real estate trends is a new feature of the annual Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce Business Expo, to be held Thursday, September 12, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Menlo Park Recreation Center in the Civic Center.
Seven local real estate representatives are expected to participate in a panel discussion from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Fireside Room at the recreation center, located to the right as you enter the lobby. It will not be held in the Council Chambers, as previously announced.
Among the expected panelists are: John Rossi, senior vice president of operations for AMB Properties, managers of Willow Road Business Park in Menlo Park; Peggy Lo, president of Lo Properties, managers of Quadrus properties in Menlo Park; John Tarlton, president of Tarlton Properties of Palo Alto, managers of Menlo Business Park in Menlo Park; Spence Leslie, director of site services for Tyco Properties of Menlo Park; Dave Dove of G.T. Commercial; Terry Kent of Drexel Real Estate Services of Menlo Park; and Annette Janke of Alain Pinel residential real estate.
The Business Expo, designed to build public awareness of business in the community, will have tables and exhibits by about 30 local businesses and organizations.
Admission to the Business Expo event is $5. Proceeds will go toward holiday lighting in Menlo Park, said a Chamber of Commerce official. For more information, call the Chamber of Commerce at 325-2818.
Meet the Almanac
Drop by the Almanac table at the Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce Business Expo on Thursday, September 12, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Menlo Park Recreation Center. Staff members will be there to answer questions and listen to your ideas. Admission to the Business Expo is $5.
