The Smart Voter Web site, a project of the League of Women Voters of California Education Fund, gives voters access to online information about candidates and issues on the November 5 ballot.

At the site, www.smartvoter.org, voters can call up a ballot customized for a particular address.

The site has information on and pictures of candidates; information about state, local and school district ballot measures; polling place locations with directions; voter registration and vote-by-mail ballot information; schedules of candidate and issue forums; and links to election-related newspaper articles and Web sites.
