Wedding

Allison Anne Sokol and Michael Patrick McCurdy were married June 29 in an outdoor ceremony at the West Shore Cafe in Homewood, Lake Tahoe.

The bride is the daughter of Marilyn and Gene Sokol of Atherton. She is a graduate of Menlo-Atherton High School and Colorado University at Boulder. She is now studying for her MBA in international business at Colorado University in Denver.

The bridegroom is the son of JoAnn Martin of Redding and Bruce McCurdy of Canoga Park. He is a graduate of Cal State Hayward and is employed in insurance sales.

Anne Anderson was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Shea Byrnes, Alyson Brewer and Shannon Eagan. Dan McCurdy was best man; Brian McCurdy, Mackenzie Sokol, Forest Smith and Mike Segueri served as ushers.

After a honeymoon in Maui and Hawaii, the couple is living in Denver.
