Caption with Carol Ivie photo in print edition: A crane at work building a performing arts center at Woodside High School near Churchill and Woodside roads. The $12 million center, paid for with Measure G bond funds, will seat 500 and include spaces for dressing rooms, rehearsals, instrument storage, a music library, a workshop, a concession stand, a cloak room and a first-aid area. The center is expected to be finished by year-end.
