Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage recently announced many of its local real estate agents who were the top sellers in 2003. They included Tom LeMieux, Scott Dancer, Ginny Kavanaugh, Tom Dallas, Hugh Cornish, Elyse Barca, Miles McCormick and Steve Bellumori. They work in the company's Menlo Park, Portola Valley and Woodside offices.

Tom LeMieux

Menlo Park real estate agent Tom LeMieux was named the No. 2 Coldwell Banker agent in San Francisco and the Peninsula and No. 10 in the world, based on 2003 sales, the company said.

Mr. LeMieux works in the Menlo Park office at 930 Santa Cruz Ave. and specializes in properties in Atherton, Menlo Park, Portola Valley and Woodside.

He recorded $90 million in area home sales last year, said Dave Hobson, manager of the Menlo Park-Santa Cruz Avenue office.

"He sells more homes in a month than many agents sell in a year," Mr. Hobson said.

Scott Dancer

Scott Dancer of the Woodside office of Coldwell Banker, was the No. 6 Coldwell Banker agent in Northern California, No. 17 in the nation and No. 22 in the world, based on 2003 sales, the company said.

The company has 4,000 Northern California agents, from Monterey to Tahoe, and 113,000 worldwide.

Mr. Dancer recorded $76 million in home sales last year, said Bill Lewis, manager of Coldwell Banker's Woodside office.

Mr. Dancer has been in the real estate business since 1984 and focuses on Woodside, Atherton, Menlo Park, Portola Valley and Redwood City. He was the company's No. 3 agent in 1999 and No. 4 in 2000 internationally for gross commission income, the company said.

The Woodside office, at 2969 Woodside Road, has some 50 real estate agents, Mr. Lewis said.

Ginny Kavanaugh

Ginny Kavanaugh, who works in Coldwell Banker's Portola Valley office, was among the top 10 agents in Northern California and No. 21 in the nation, based on 2003 sales, the company said.

She recorded $66 million in area home sales last year, said Bill Lewis, manager of Coldwell Banker's Portola Valley office at 116 Portola Road.

With 19 years of real estate sales experience, Ms. Kavanaugh has ranked in the top 5 percent of Coldwell Banker agents in the nation since 1994 and in the top 1 percent in Northern California in 2000, 2002 and 2003.

Tom Dallas

Tom Dallas of the Woodside office of Coldwell Banker ranked in the top 1 percent of the 4,000 Coldwell Banker agents in Northern Calilfornia, based on 2003 sales, the firm said.

"Dallas is consistently among the most successful residential agents in the Bay Area and the nation," said Bill Lewis, manager of Coldwell Banker's Woodside office at 2969 Woodside Road.

During his 25-year real estate career, Mr. Dallas has sold more than $1.5 billion in real estate, the firm said.

In 2000, he was ranked the No. 1 Coldwell Banker agent in the world out of 80,000 agents.

Hugh Cornish

Hugh Cornish of Coldwell Banker's Menlo Park office on El Camino Real was the company's No. 4 agent in Northern California and No. 20 in the world, based on 2003 sales, the company said.

"Hugh is a third-generation real estate professional; he has it in his blood," said Wendy McPherson, manager of the Menlo Park office, which used to be part of Cornish & Carey, a Palo Alto real estate firm co-founded by Mr. Cornish's grandfather in 1935 and sold to Coldwell five years ago.

Mr. Cornish recorded $75 million dollars in area home sales last year and $450 million over the past five years.

Top 1 percent

Coldwell Banker announced that three local real estate agents were among the top 1 percent of the company's agents in the Bay Area, based on 2003 sales: Elyse Barca, Miles McCormick and Steve Bellumori.

Ms. Barca , who has 15 years of real estate experience, specializes in properties in Atherton, Menlo Park, Woodside, and Portola Valley.

Mr. McCormick , who began his real estate career with Coldwell eight years ago, specializes in properties in Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Atherton, Woodside and Portola Valley.

Steve Bellumori, a 25-year real estate agent, specializes in Menlo Park, Atherton and Palo Alto.
