Federman named to Hall of Fame Federman named to Hall of Fame (March 24, 2004)

Irwin Federman of Atherton, a general partner of U.S. Venture Partners, a Menlo Park venture capital firm, is being inducted into the Junior Achievement of Silicon Valley Business Hall of Fame at the 18th annual induction ceremonies Tuesday, March 30.

The ceremony will close a year-long 50th anniversary celebration for Junior Achievement of Silicon Valley and Monterey Bay.

Before coming to U.S. Venture Partners in 1990, Mr. Federman was managing director of Dillon Read & Co., an investment-banking firm, and was a member of its venture capital affiliate, Concord Partners.

Mr. Federman helped to found several local companies and is a member of many business, community and nonprofit boards. He received the Brotherhood Award from the National Conference of Community and Justice.

He will be inducted at a dinner ceremony on March 30 beginning at 6 p.m. at the San Jose Fairmont Hotel. For more information call (408) 988-8915 or email admin@jascc.org..
