Caption with Carol Ivie photo in print edition: Joe Pimentel, left, and Keith McLeod of Menlo Park's public works department work to rebuild one of the 19 kiosks that mark each side street off Santa Cruz Avenue in downtown Menlo Park. Dry rot and termites have taken their toll on the structures, so the kiosks are all being redesigned with larger tops to keep rain from seeping in.
