Program topic: What do we do when the oil runs out?
(April 28, 2004) Richard Heinberg, author of "The Party's Over: Oil, War, and the Fate of Industrial Societies," will speak at the Foundation For Global Community on Tuesday, May 4, at 7:30 p.m., at 222 High St. in Palo Alto.
Dr. Heinberg, a professor at the New College in Santa Rosa, will examine the impending end of cheap oil, and what that will mean to our everyday lives -- how we travel, what we eat -- and the overall economy.
