The 130 members of Menlo School's Class of 2004 will receive their diplomas on Thursday, June 10, during an outdoor ceremony, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

This year, graduation will take place on the Menlo College quad in Atherton, behind the Menlo School campus, due to the school's nearly completed construction project.

The Rev. Jeff A. Langskov, a Menlo parent, will open the ceremony with an invocation.

Head of School Norman M. Colb will welcome the seniors, their families and friends. He will introduce the graduation speaker Deborah Stipek, the I. James Quillen dean of the Stanford University School of Education.

Senior Class President Timothy Felker of Burlingame also will speak, giving his thoughts on graduation.

Menlo School's Chamber Ensemble and choruses will provide music. The chorus will extend the traditional invitation to all chorus alumni in the audience to join them in singing "The Beauty of the Earth" by John Ritter.
