This information is from the Atherton and Menlo Park police departments and the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Under the law, people charged with offenses are considered innocent until convicted.

Atherton

Burglary: Someone entered an unlocked residence and took miscellaneous stereo equipment on Winchester Drive on June 12.

Menlo Park

Spousal abuse: Anthony Bickerstaff, 67, of Menlo Park was arrested in the 300 block of Terminal Avenue and booked into county jail at 8:10 p.m. on June 16.

Fraud:

** Someone withdrew money from an account without authorization, 700 block of Laurel Street, June 11.

** Someone took paychecks from a business in the 200 block of Constitution Drive on June 14 and cashed them in another city.

Vicious animal: Two dogs fought and one owner was reported bitten in the 1000 block of Middle Avenue on June 15.

Burglaries/Vandalism: Someone stole two computers from Belle Haven School, June 11.
Someone smashed the rear passenger window of a Honda Accord and took the faceplate of the car stereo, 800 block of Oak Grove Avenue, June 11.
Someone entered a residence through a skylight and took video games, 1100 block of Carlton Avenue, June 11.
Someone stole tools from cars parked in a business parking lot, 100 block of Independence Drive, June 14.
Someone stole a laptop computer from a business, 1600 block of Adams Drive, June 15.

Woodside

Burglaries: Someone attempted to enter an office at Canada College on June 10. Someone entered an unlocked tool barn in the 1400 block of Portola Road and took a lawnmower and a leaf blower on June 12.

Ladera area

Burglary: Someone entered a residence through the front window and spray painted inside in the 300 block of Dedalera Drive on June 10.
