News of recent graduates:

** Jill K. Barnes of Menlo Park received a bachelor of arts degree at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. She graduated cum laude, on the dean's list, and with distinction in her major, psychology. She is the daughter of Bruce and Linda Barnes of Menlo Park and Robert and Diana Nicholus of Menlo Park.

** August Gramaglia of Atherton graduated with a bachelor of arts degree with a major in economics and political science from Denison University, Granville, Ohio. He is the son of Mr. And Mrs. Jerome Gramaglia of Atherton.

** Bridget M. Monohan of Menlo Park has graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree with a major in theology from Boston College.

** Brant S. Martin of Woodside graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a bachelor's degree in philosophy.
