Mountain lion sightings in Portola Valley
(June 30, 2004) The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office reported that a mountain lion was sighted near the intersection of Portola Road and Family Farm Road in Woodside on June 17. Two days later, on June 19, another mountain lion sighting was reported in the 500 block of Portola Road in Portola Valley, the Sheriff's Office said.
If you come face-to-face with a mountain lion, call the Department of Fish
and Game immediately at (916) 445-0045. Also use this number to report
