Yukino Eleanor Fujii and Mark Jonathan Zeigler were married April 24 at Marina Village on Mission Bay, San Diego. A reception was held for local family and friends on May 23 at the Stanford Faculty Club.
The bride is the daughter of Yasuko Fujii of La Mirada and the late Yoshinori Fujii. She is a graduate of San Diego State University and is operations director of the San Diego Sockers, a professional indoor soccer team.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Lee Zeigler of San Francisco, former Woodside residents. A graduate of Menlo School and Stanford University, he is a sports writer for the San Diego Union-Tribune.
The couple became engaged in Hawaii, where the bridegroom was born. Her engagement ring was attached to a lei.
Merinda Vistaunet was the bride's honor attendant. Cheryl Rhoades, Brandee Craig, Gloria King and Rebecca Zeigler Mano were bridesmaids. Flower girls included: Sandy Fujii, Grace, Esther and Margaret Mano, Bridget Graney, Avery Vistaunet, Maggie Weigand and Emma Taila.
Ed Graney was best man. Ushers were Florian Weigand, Carl Bronson, David Mueller and Reneth Mano.
After a honeymoon in June attending Euro 2004, the European soccer championship, the newlyweds will be at home in San Diego.
