Library's resources for small businesses
Before the Internet, there was the library. And the library has hardly become obsolete.
At an August 6 lunchtime talk sponsored by the Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce, Menlo Park librarian Nicholas Szegda will speak on a library's resources for small businesses. He will discuss the library's variety of printed materials on running a business and the ways in which a research librarian can provide assistance.
The free event takes place from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the chamber office at 1100 Merrill St. Attendees typically bring bag lunches and business cards, and are asked to RSVP in advance. Call 325-2818.
