Car crashes into store
A teenage girl with a driver's permit crashed into the front of a small Menlo Park grocery store around 5 p.m. on July 26. There were no injuries, but the store, Mi Rancho, located near the intersection of Willow Road and Durham Street, sustained about $20,000 in damage, said Paula Alloro, division chief of the Menlo Park Fire District. "The big thing is that nobody was injured. The (store) materials are no big deal," said Jesus Lopez, the storeowner. -- Bay City News
