(August 18, 2004) Caption with Carol Ivie photo in print edition: Construction vehicles are grumbling and dirt is piled high these days on Ivy Drive, in the company of the Belle Haven library, elementary school and child development center in Menlo Park. As part of a $1.9 million project, workers are creating a community plaza on Ivy between Chilco Street and Almanor Avenue. The project will include new median landscaping, as well as tile work created by Belle Haven students.
