Atherton
Grand theft report: Ten cords of oak firewood stolen over period of time, Sargent Lane, March 11.
Burglary report: Window smashed and residence broken into, but nothing taken, Edge Road, March 12.
Menlo Park
Grand theft reports: Jewelry stolen, Garland Place, March 11. Gardening tools stolen from back of truck, 1100 block of Carlton Avenue, March 16.
Burglary reports: Laptop computer stolen, 400 block of Glenwood Avenue, March 11. Laptop computer stolen, 700 block of Nash Avenue, March 12. TV, laptop computer, DVD player and camcorder stolen while resident was on vacation, 300 block of Durham Street, March 13. Ceramic pot and Chinese swords stolen, 690 Sharon Park Drive, March 14.
Auto-burglary report: Car stereo and CDs stolen, 1000 block of Marsh Road, March 14.
Fraud reports: $1,000 stolen from Menlo Park Presbyterian Church, 900 block of Santa Cruz Avenue, March 15. Identity thefts, first block of Politzer Drive, 1200 block of Hollyburne Avenue, and 300 block of Sand Hill Circle, March 15.
Woodside
Theft reports: Wallet stolen from unlocked vehicle, 3100 block of Woodside Road, March 4. Purse stolen and credit card used for fraudulent purchases, first block of Ridge Court, March 12. Two wallets and two mobile phones stolen from locker room, Canada College, March 14.
Incident report: Mail found scattered on street for several blocks, 3500 block of Woodside Road, March 13.
Portola Valley
Theft report: Wallet stolen from unlocked vehicle and credit card used for fraudulent purchases, 4500 block of Alpine Road, March 11.
