The Alpine Pumas CYSA under-12 girls soccer team recently advanced to the quarter-finals of the State Association Cup, finishing in the top 8 of the 64 teams competing in the Pumas' age group.

The tournament was held in Sacramento and Ripon, California.

In the quarterfinals, the Pumas lost 1-0 to the Folsom Breeze, a team that had only lost one game all season.
