Menlo artist featured in cafe exhibit Menlo artist featured in cafe exhibit (April 06, 2005)

The walls of Cafe Borrone will soon be vibrant with the colors of France, Italy and California when an exhibit of new work by Menlo Park artist Mitchell Johnson opens on April 10.

The exhibit will include a group of large paintings by Mr. Johnson, and will run through May 22.

A reception is scheduled for Tuesday, April 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the cafe, 1010 El Camino Real, near Kepler's bookstore, in Menlo Park.

Mr. Johnson is known for his figurative work depicting workers and bathers, as well as landscapes of Tuscany, France, California vineyards and other scenes of the state.
