Atherton

Juvenile-problem reports: Student had brass knuckles, Selby Lane School, April 15. Two juveniles in a vehicle veered toward an elderly woman on foot, first block of Shearer Drive, April 21. Girls' and boys' restrooms vandalized, hallway padlock and chains cut on three different days, mobile phone stolen, cement bench vandalized, bicycle parts stolen, fight between two girls, fight between two boys, Menlo-Atherton High School, April 15 - 21.

Burglary report: Locked container broken into and items spread across campus, Selby Lane School, April 18.
Menlo Park

Grand-theft reports: Video projector stolen, Menlo College, April 15. Firearm stolen from residence, 1000 block of Oakland Avenue, April 17.

Burglary reports: Computer equipment stolen, 3000 block of Sand Hill Road, April 18. Jewelry stolen from residence, 200 block of Hedge Road, April 18. Residential burglary interrupted and nothing taken, 1300 block of Willow Road, April 20.

Auto-burglary report: Laptop computer stolen from vehicle trunk, 500 block of El Camino Real, April 20.

Fraud reports: Checks cashed on closed account, 800 block of Willow Road, April 17. Fraudulent use of a debit card, 800 block of Coleman Avenue, April 18. Bad traveler's checks passed at business, 1300 block of El Camino Real, April 18. Checks stolen and used for purchases, 500 block of Hamilton Avenue, April 21.
Woodside

Mail-tampering reports: Mail in mailbox opened and left there, 3100 block of Woodside Road, April 13.

Theft reports: Purse and laptop computer stolen from two unlocked vehicles, 200 block of Greer Road, April 14. Personal property stolen from unlocked vehicles in 3500 block of Partition Road. Checkbook stolen from unlocked vehicle and unlocked vehicles ransacked, 500 block of Patrol Road, April 14.

Mountain lion sighting report: Mountain lion seen in the 100 block of Marva Oaks Drive.
Portola Valley

Burglary report: Rear door of residence kicked open but nothing taken, 300 block of Alamos Road, April 18.
West Menlo Park area

Theft report: Six unauthorized purchases noted in credit account, 2000 block of Valparaiso Avenue, April 15.
