** Navy Seaman Apprentice James N. Carter recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command at Great Lakes, Illinois. He is a 2004 graduate of Woodside High School.

** Air Force 2nd Lt. Kristen I. Donley has arrived for duty at Incirlik Air Base, Adana, Turkey. Donley, an airfield operations flight systems officer, is assigned to the 39th Operations Squadron. She is the daughter of Vince and Judy Donley of Parkman, Wyoming. Her husband, William, is the son of Christopher and Martha Dunn of Woodside.
