Caption with picture in the print edition: The Redwood National Junior Basketball (NJB) All Net Fifth Grade team recently defeated the Hawaii Warriors to become the new NJB All Net Champion for 2005. The championship game was played at Chapman University in Orange, California. The team finished its regular season with a 17-1 record in the Silicon Valley League. Team members, from left, are: front row, Sam Carver, Ricki Hoffer, Christian Perkins and Jesse Perkins; back row, Coach Dave Carver, James Shaw, Zach Thomas, Richard Harris, Josiah Paye, Coach John Paye and Jack Paye. Not present were Miles Weiss and Cole McConnell.
