Burglary report: Window smashed and purse taken, first block of Euclid Avenue, April 29.
Fraud report: Man rang doorbell, gave home address and requested $85 to pay for car tow -- which resident gave -- then man left and address found to be false, 300 block of Fletcher Drive, May 2.
Grand-theft report: Package containing electric guitar stolen from doorway, First block of Gresham Lane, May 3.
Theft report: Bicycle stolen, Menlo-Atherton High School, May 5.

Burglary reports: Eight packs of cigarettes stolen, mini market in 1300 block of Willow Road, April 29. Hand gun and box of blank checks stolen, 1200 block of Hollyburne Avenue, April 29. Electric scooter stolen from locked yard, May 2. Five hundred feet of copper wire stolen, PG&E facility in 2000 block of Willow Road, May 4. Mobile phone, battery charger and DVDs stolen, 400 block of Ivy Drive, May 5.
Fraud reports: Bootleg DVDs and CDs being sold and arrest made, 800 block of Willow Road, April 30. Counterfeit $100 bill passed at business, 900 block of Willow Road, May 2. Identity theft, 800 block of Coleman Avenue, May 3.
Weapons-related reports: Person assaulted and stabbed in the hand with a knife, 100 block of Willow Road, May 5. Person brandished a knife; Ceferino Brigabriel, 34, of Menlo Park arrested and booked into county jail, 1300 block of Willow Road, May 5.
Grand-theft report: Gardening equipment stolen from yard, 2100 block of Clayton Drive, May 1.
Petty theft report: Coins stolen from laundry machines, 800 block of Roble Avenue, May 3.

Traffic-collision reports: Motorcyclist skidded into culvert and was taken to Stanford Hospital, Fox Hill and La Honda roads, April 24. Motorcyclist crossed center line, collided with vehicle, was pinned underneath, then taken to Stanford Hospital, 2000 block of Portola Road, April 24. Motorist backing out of driveway collided with motorist in roadway; roadway motorist taken to San Mateo General Hospital, first block of Haciendas Drive, April 27.
Theft reports: Credit card address changed, purchases made, including attempt to wire money, first block of Ranch Road, April 29. Wallet and MP3 music player stolen from unlocked vehicle, 3500 block of Tripp Road, March 24. Laptop computer, wallet and credit cards stolen from unlocked vehicle, 100 block of Highland Terrace, May 3.
Auto-burglary report: Stereo unit stolen from vehicle, Canada College, April 29.
Incident report: Pellet guns and wrist rockets turned in for safekeeping, 2900 block of Woodside Road, April 29.
Portola Valley
Theft reports: Cash, purses, wallets, credit cards, laptop computer, binoculars, bicycle, wine and MP3 music player stolen from unlocked vehicles and garages, Westridge neighborhood, April 27-May 3.
