Woodside school board to discuss construction bond Woodside school board to discuss construction bond (May 11, 2005)

Discussions on proposed new construction on the campus of Woodside Elementary School are on the agenda for the Wednesday, May 11, meeting of the school board at 4 p.m. in the school library at 3195 Woodside Road.

A draft plan made public April 27 includes 14 new classrooms, a new band room, a computer lab, a new administration building and community room, and a full-size soccer field and running track. New drop-off zones near the administration and kindergarten areas could ease traffic congestion on Woodside Road in the mornings and afternoons.

On the May 11 meeting agenda are three items for discussion: preliminary projection of costs, a tentative timetable for steps leading to a bond measure for a November 8 election, and community use of the facilities.
