Sacred Heart Prep stages Holocaust play Sacred Heart Prep stages Holocaust play (December 07, 2005)

Sacred Heart Prep's drama department presents James Still's "And Then They Came For Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank" on Tuesday, December 6, at 7 p.m. in the school's Campbell Center for the Performing Arts in Atherton.

The play combines videotaped interviews of Holocaust survivors Ed Silverberg and Eva Schloss with live actors recreating scenes from the lives of Mr. Silverberg and Ms. Schloss during World War II.

Mr. Silverberg was Anne Frank's first boyfriend, and she wrote about him in the beginning of her famous diary.

In the cast are students from the school's advanced acting class: RJ Horsley, Robbie LaRue, Christie Richards, Aubrie Pollock and Lauren Virnoche. John Loschmann is the director.

After each performance, there will be a question-and-answer session with the audience.

For tickets -- at $5 each -- e-mail jloschmann@shschools.org. or call Mr. Loschmann at 473-4098, ext. 2182.
