Correction: Candidates forum was held April 15

Correction: The candidates's forum for the school board of the Portola Valley School District was held Tuesday, April 15, at The Sequoias retirement community in Portola Valley. The date was reported incorrectly as April 22, both online and in print. The Almanac regrets any inconvenience this has caused.

I strongly endorse Bill Youstra for the school board. His combination of educational and business experience will enable him to bring pragmatic leadership to what will be a difficult few years - while we advance the quality of our kid's education in a tough budget environment.
