One person was knocked unconscious in an attack in a liquor store parking lot in North Fair Oaks on Saturday, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said.
. Police were called to the parking lot of One Stop Liquors at 390 4th Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. on a report of a large fight. Two victims were found, one beaten unconscious, officials said.
Witnesses told investigators that the victims were attacked by a group of three-to-four men who kicked and punched them and then drove away in a silver four-door sedan.
One victim, an 18-year-old male, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The other victim was treated at the scene and released. The suspects were described as Pacific Islander males, officials said.
