Dr. Michael Snyder, chair of genetics in the Center for Genomics and Personalized Medicine at Stanford University, will give a talk in Menlo Park at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, on the impact of genome sequencing in the treatment of disease and in everyday care of healthy people.
This Cafe Scientifique program runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at SRI International's International Building (Middlefield Road at Ringwood Avenue). Doors open at 5:15. Don't park at SRI's main entrance (333 Ravenswood Ave.). Follow the signs to event or Conference Center parking around the corner.
