Tonight: Student robotics teams visit Cafe Scientifique

Robots will make an appearance at Cafe Scientifique, which meets Tuesday, Oct. 8, at SRI International in Menlo Park.

Student robotics teams from Menlo-Atherton and Palo Alto high schools -- both of which have been sponsored by SRI in robotics competitions -- will be on hand to demonstrate their latest creations.

This Cafe Scientifique program runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at SRI International's International Building (Middlefield Road at Ringwood Avenue). Doors open at 5:15. Don't park at SRI's main entrance (333 Ravenswood Ave.). Follow the signs to event or Conference Center parking around the corner.

For more information, go to the Cafe Scientifique website.
