An early model Hiller helicopter managed to rescue a young Terrence Hallinan from a remote location in Yosemite National Park in 1949.
Stanlely Hiller Jr. moved his helicopter company to 1350 Willow Road in 1948 to a site that was later annexed to Menlo Park.
