Atherton: Lindenwood homes, vehicles vandalized

Several homes and vehicles in the Lindenwood area of Atherton were sprayed with black paint Sunday night, Atherton police reported. The paint was sprayed on fences, gates, garage doors and vehicles between 6:30 and 10:30 p.m., police said.

People with any information regarding this vandalism, including suspect descriptions and video surveillance footage, are asked to call Atherton police at 688-6500.

Police remind residents to keep their home security systems working; property gates, doors and windows closed; exterior lights on at night; and vehicles locked with no valuables inside the passenger compartment.
