Storytelling event Saturday in Menlo Park City Council Chambers

The storytelling duo known as Eth-Noh-Tec will perform a free program, "Asian Treasure Bag," on Saturday morning, March 1.

The program, sponsored by the Friends of the Menlo Park Library, begins at 11 a.m. in the Menlo Park City Council Chambers.

Nancy Wang and Robert Kikuchi-Yngojo of Eth-Noh-Tec perform stories for adults and children, weaving music, dance, rhythmic dialogue, facial expression and the spoken word to bring their stories to life. The duo has performed at festivals, museums, conferences, and even presidential inauguration events, according to a Menlo Park Library press release.

Free van service to the program is available for Menlo Park seniors and people with disabilities. For more information or to schedule transportation, call 330-2512, or email rlroth@menlopark.org.

The council chambers are at 701 Laurel St. in the Menlo Park Civic Center.
