Atherton: Burglars break into locked home

One or more burglars forced their way through a locked door of a home on Nora Way in Atherton on Thursday, July 24, and stole a 50-inch flat-screen television, police reported Friday.

The door appeared to have been kicked, and a tool was apparently used in an attempt to open other locked doors and windows, Atherton police said. Police surmise the burglars used a vehicle since they stole the television set.

Anyone who witnessed unusual activity near the intersection of Adam Way and Nora Way on July 24 is asked to contact the Atherton Police Department.
