Portola Valley military tanks heading to East Coast
The shade known officially as olive drab is the common coloration of the 240 armored vehicles from the 20th century that makeup the collection of Jacques Littlefield. Mr. Littlefield, who died in 2009, housed his collection at his home in the hills above Portola Valley. A Massachusetts-based foundation recently agreed to take 80 of the most historically significant vehicles for display and active use in battle re-enactments.
