Preservationists throw in towel in fight over Steve Jobs' house
The Jackling house, shown here in 2001, was for a time left open to the wind, rain and sun and is now debilitated inside and out. After years fighting to save this Jazz Age summer home, preservationists have acceded to homeowner Steve Jobs' intention of replacing the house with something smaller and more modern.
