Pets are wonderful

Members of the Girl Scout Daisies troop at Phillips Brooks School in Menlo Park recently gathered 100 days of food and toys for pets, which they donated to Pets are Wonderful Support (PAWS), a volunteer organization that provides for companion animals for low-income seniors and people with disabling illnesses.

Standing by decorated donation boxes, which they had made themselves, the Daisies (Girl Scouts in kindergarten) encouraged people to donate to PAWS at the Pet Place and Bow Wow Meow in downtown Menlo Park.
