In its report on this drug bust the Almanac identifies the suspect's place of business as Peak Performance. The Weekly and the Almanac are the only news source which used this incorrect identification rather than the suspect's business name One-2-One Fitness and business address 325 Sharon Park Drive.
Bill Tarr's Peak Performance is a highly reputable organization and Bill has been a long time and strong supporter of the community in many ways.
The Almanac's use of Peak Performance's name in this article is totally inappropriate and very damaging to Bill and his business. The Almanac owes him a very public apology.
The Menlo Park Police report incorrectly and inappropriately identified Peak Performance as the suspect's place of business. The Weekly failed to fact check but ha since corrected it's story. The Almanac story has used both the correct information and the wrong information..
The MP Police corrected their news release later today - very sloppy police work.
And probably the basis for a very good lawsuit if Bill Tarr were so inclined.
