Thursday: Chad Orzel at Kepler's

Chad Orzel, associate physics and astronomy professor at Union College in New York and author of "How to Teach Relativity to Your Dog," will discuss the book at Kepler's, 1010 El Camino Real in Menlo Park, on Thursday, June 14, at 7 p.m.
The author uses the interactive relationship between an owner and his dog to explain difficult physics concepts in an accessible way.
Mr. Orzel received his BA in physics from Williams College, his Ph.D. in chemical physics from the University of Maryland, and his post-doctorate from Yale University. He lives with his wife, two children, and dog, Emmy, in Niskayuna, New York.

Posted by Aquamarine, a resident of another community, on Jun 13, 2012 at 10:53 am How do you "receive" a post-doc? It's not a degree, it's something you do. Regardless, it sounds more interesting than a lawyer interviewing an MBA about her romance novel.
