Menlo Park man drowns in Minnesota
Edward Solomon, 75, dies despite rescue efforts

A 75-year-old Menlo Park man was swimming in a Minnesota lake on Saturday afternoon when he went under, according to the Wright County sheriff.
Bystanders pulled Edward Solomon out of Sugar Lake and began CPR before emergency personnel arrived. Despite their efforts, he died at a hospital the next day, on July 22, the sheriff said.

Posted by Don, a resident of the Atherton: West Atherton neighborhood, on Jul 24, 2012 at 2:03 pm Probably had a heart attack or severe cramps. A family acquaintance (much younger than 75) recently suffered a heart attack while in the swimming portion of a triathalon. I think she eventually died.
