Woman identified in apparent drowning
|
The San Mateo County Coroner's Office has identified the woman who apparently drowned in a Jacuzzi at a Menlo Park hotel early Saturday morning. She is Keri Michelle Long, 42, of San Ramon.
Menlo Park police are investigating the apparent drowning at the Best Western Plus Riviera hotel at 15 El Camino Real in Menlo Park.
Police were called to the hotel at about 5:34 a.m. Saturday and found hotel staff and the victim's friend performing CPR. Paramedics with the Menlo Park Fire District arrived and she was pronounced dead, according to Sgt. Tim Brackett of the Menlo Park Police Department.
The woman was found in the Jacuzzi by her friend and she was not responsive, police were told. There appears to be no sign of foul play at this time, police said.
Police ask that anyone with information about this incident call the Menlo Park Police Department Investigations Unit at (650) 330-6300.
