Cavalia horse show star Sylvia Zerbini will conduct a liberty horse clinic Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 11-12, at the NCEFT facility, 880 Runnymeade Road in Woodside.

Liberty horses work in a ring, with no reins being used by the trainer.

Ms. Zerbini's clinic will focus on establishing trust and a unique bond with the horse. She was formerly with the Cavalia horse show in San Francisco, where she presented eight Arabian horses, all at liberty, doing complex patterns and movements.

Registration deadline for those who would like to audit the clinic is Thursday, Aug. 2. Cost is $50 per day or $80 for both Saturday and Sunday. Call Dawn Williams at 851-1128 for more information.
