Lanes reopen after gravel spill on 101
|
A gravel spill from an accident between a big-rig and a car left multiple lanes of northbound U.S. 101 closed for more than two hours in Redwood City this morning, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
Three northbound lanes near Whipple Avenue re-opened just before 9 a.m. following the crash, which was reported around 6:45 a.m., CHP Officer James Evans said.
The big-rig spilled gravel onto the roadway after the collision, Evans said.
No injuries were reported in the crash, the officer said.
