A motorcyclist from Hercules who crashed with a truck on Skyline Boulevard (state Highway 35) in San Mateo County on Sunday afternoon remained in critical condition Monday night, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

Units responded to Highway 35 just south of state Highway 92, where a motorcycle and a truck crashed at about 2:15 p.m., CHP Officer James Evans said.

The 31-year-old motorcyclist, Ricky Louis Spencer, suffered major head injuries and was airlifted to Stanford Hospital, CHP Officer Art Montiel said.

The roadway was blocked in both directions for about an hour.

There were no other reported injuries.
