No surprises here -- the official roster of Menlo Park City Council candidates stayed at five as the final filing deadline expired on Wednesday for the Nov. 6 election.

Two seats are open on the council. Although incumbent Andy Cohen failed to follow through on running for re-election, Councilwoman Kelly Fergusson decided to try for a third term. Also running: Transportation Commissioner Ray Mueller, firefighter Dave Bragg, Parks and Recreation Commissioner Catherine Carlton, along with small business owner and Housing Commissioner Carolyn Clarke.
