New traffic light near Hillview Middle School
Menlo Park adds signal at Santa Cruz and Elder avenues

Those driving in the vicinity of Hillview Middle School in Menlo Park this week may notice a new traffic light.

The city installed the light at the intersection of Santa Cruz and Elder avenues. A pedestrian signal on Santa Cruz Avenue in front of the school was removed.

City staff will monitor the new traffic signal's performance during school drop-off and pick-up times, according to Senior Transportation Engineer Atul Patel.
