Author Nancy Singleton Hachisu will discuss her new book, "Japanese Farm Food," at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Kepler's, 1010 El Camino Real in Menlo Park.

American born and raised, Nancy Singleton Hachisu lives with her family on a rural Japanese farm, where they prepare 160 seasonal dishes.
