Tonight in Portola Valley: 'The Martin Litton Story'

 | The film, "The Good Fight: the Martin Litton Story," will be shown from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the Portola Valley Library, 765 Portola Road in Portola Valley.
The film chronicles the efforts of conservationist Martin Litton, a Portola Valley local who is a recipient of the Sierra Club's John Muir Award and is a 2012 Portola Valley Blues & Barbecue honoree.
Mr. Litton was instrumental in establishing Redwood National Park and preventing the building of dams that would have flooded the Grand Canyon.
