The League of Women Voters of South San Mateo County invites the public to local forums to discuss state propositions on the Nov. 6 ballot.

Here are the times, dates and locations:

■ 11 a.m.-noon Sunday, Oct. 7, in the chapel of the Woodside Village Church, 3154 Woodside Road, opposite Woodside Elementary School.

■ Noon-1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, St. Bede's Church, 2650 Sand Hill Road in Menlo Park.

■ 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at The Sequoias, 501 Portola Road in Portola Valley.

League volunteers will present non-partisan information about the various ballot propositions.
